Had loads of admin and various other loose ends to tie up this week (this website being one), so made a massive list and worked my way through them, crossing them off the list as I go.

It really is quite sad how much I am looking forward to seeing a page full of scribbed-out words...

In the meantime, got an interesting-sounding seminar to look forward to later at the IHR: David Gent (York) is giving a paper called Aristocratic Whig Politics in Early-Victorian Yorkshire: The Provincial Career of Lord Morpeth. I wonder if we'll find out whether Lord Morpeth went on the warpath.
